    Would you mind sharing where you found this information? I've tried to search and found nothing other than a couple of mis-informed forum posts about adding a 'buffer' of latency which is more akin to what UAD does.

    I have the VMR but use it in another DAW and have never tried it in SAW or SAC. AFAIK it adds no additional latency and has always been promoted that way. I'm not sure if the latest version with the newest modules has changed that, but there's no mention of it on the Slate site.

    Perhaps the compatibility issue with SAC is something other than reporting latency.

    In my other DAW the VMR installs both VST 2.x and VST 3.0 versions. When you install, are you making sure to use the VST 2.x versions/dll's?

    I use Chainer to run some waves plugs that report latency. I only use it on outputs for things like eq's and multi-comps.
