Has this ever happed to anyone else?

I have a friend who is running 5.1 SAW and the wide mixer is only half working. can't operate and faders for aux or main, nor the faders for eq, BUT all buttons work and you can select the eq and stuff by the drop down boxes.. Win7 64bit operating system, happens no matter what edl is loaded.. He's got me stumped

Run saw in xp sp3 mode....right-click
The saw icon and set the combability mode to xp sp3.

i already went down to xp sp2 with no change.. I just had him reinstall and add the vst's back one at a time.. works fine now.. probably have something wonky as he didn't install all the ones he had before
