does it report latency? Is so then no. Although there are workaround's.

According to Waves.com the only supported host is Waves Multirack, so I really don't think it'll work in SAC.

    Hai Peter,

I was away, and only has the chance today to open my internet.
The host of the Dan Dugan thing is Sound Grid from waves.

I will try to download a demo and see if it works....

    Thanks Peter

I have used a Dugan card on an LS9. Amazing what it does. This would, forgive me, "be a game changer" if it works.

It works as a stand alone engine. I own three machines running multi rack native with the dugan plug in. Two of them use dante pcie cards, the other uses a rme 9652 card.
With a little out of box thinking I have 24 channels patched post fader in SAC.
Albeit you incur another engines worth of latency, but only in the digital realm. I run yhe dugan engines at 32 buffer size.

    Hope this is of use.

    Dear Haysus and KUI,

    1. I know this Dugan from our SSL C10HD, in the year 2013
    2. We are SSL agents for Indonesia
    3. They are now incorporating this Dugan in their Live Console L500

    4. Architecture wise I bet on SAC, it is really a 25 in 1 Mixer, and so easy to use
    5. Now that Bob has created a big touch view, and the faders does not jump on touching it, although it jumps a bit when u slide it, it becomes a real danger to the existing consoles

    5. I believe Bob is too early, because I bought the first SAW in 1995 I think, during NAB SHOW in Vegas. and again he is too early in SAC.
However I strongly believe that, what happened in the recording industry will happen in the live and broadcast world

    6. So this dugan thing is a breakthrough if it works, like Hayes said

    7. But since I am an Indonesian, and my english is not that great, I could not grab what KUI is explaining, do I have to buy the Dugan hardware???
Or can I install the sound grid from wave and use it as a plug in for SAC

    8. Please advise

You want to purchase Waves Multitrack Native and the Dan Dugan plugin.

Multirack Native is an audio plugin engine that runs on windows pc.

Waves Soundgrid is a waves hardware solution for main stream consoles.

You want to investigate Multitrack Native and the Dan Dugan plugin for use with SAC.

    Hi Kui

Are you running the Waves Multirack on the same machine as SAC? If so, how are you connecting the two? If not, and multirack is running on a separate machine, how are they connected?

    Thanks

    Hal

Ada8000 - adat- to dugan engine- adat - to sac engine.

This places the dugan in front of sac.

The other system is Dante based so its all connected with networks cable.
