Thread: touch screen

  1. Default touch screen

Hi maybe I am just a bit clumsy but I'm experiencing problems with the touch screen operation. I find it difficult to scroll without adjusting the wrong thing.

Also on the eq section when the fader pop up appears I can't move my finger on to the slider without it disappearing whereas I can with the mouse what am I doing wrong?

Have you set the Touch Screen Mode Active in the Mixer menu... this keeps the control from jumping.

Also make sure to then set the Windows 8 touch mode active in the Options menu.

You must be using Windows 8 or a 3M touch screen if you are using XP or Win 7.

    thanks Bob

I have set the touch screen mode in the menus, I am using win 8 and have set win 8 multi touch as well. I am trying to update the screen driver and see if that improves things I am using an IIyama touch screen.

Also I am just about managing to use the pop up faders for eq etc however when I do they shoot up to fully up as I start to drag them. This can't be right?

Ok so with further playing, there are three things to get it to work properly.

    1. activate win 8 touch screen mode in options menu
    2. activate touch screen mode in mixer menu.
    3. open the touch mixer in the view menu

Then touch works in a controllable way.
