    Default Solo Buss levels problem

Maybe I'm not doing something right here.
Whenever I try to raise the solo buss level for the monitor feed, it raises the FOH solo buss level instead. Reopen the solo menu and there is the figure I chose, but it is listed under FOH and not Monitors. This is 4.1 but it does the same thing in 4.0b.

Bob wrote something in a previous post about right-clicking on a sub fader to get a slider for solo volume, but I never could figure out what that meant or how to get that to work. I would just get the pop-up menu with the goto channel dialog.

Actually, I'm talking about setting the level from the menu. However, setting the level from from the monitor mixer's output fader doesn't seem to work correctly either.

FOH and MON solo buses have nothing to do with being on a monitor mixer or FOH mixer. There are two different solo buses for two different engineers working the same host machine... one designated as FOH and the other designated as MON.

The two solo levels work independently on those two different status rights.

If a network is setup using a host machine and a remote, that is when you can designate one as FOH status and the other as MON status.

If no network is used, the host system will always be designated as FOH.

With a single host system, just right-click the solo button at the top of the screen and you can set the master solo level.

If you want to designate an actual fader to control the level on the fly, you can right-click any output fader solo button and designate that as a master solo offset control, and the solo level will track with that fader. Remember, the MON solo bus is only available when using two or more systems as remotes.

Thanks Bob. That's what I was guessing. I was hoping I was wrong.
