Default Copying track and automation to another EDL

I'm wondering if there is an easy way to copy a track - it's regions along with it's automation - to another EDL. In the past, I've simply blended sessions, discarded all the extra stuff that I didn't need, and moved the wanted content to where it belonged. Is there a simpler way to do this?

    Thanks.

That is a good way to go... but I suggest stripping what you don't want first... and save that as a blend edl... then just blend it into the final edl.

So I would first save the current session as "blend.edl"... then start clearing all the stuff you don't want... leaving only the tracks and regions and automation you do want... then open the final edl... blend the blend.edl starting on a blank track after the last track in the final edl.... done.
