    Default Automatic SoftEdge?

I am not sure if I am missing a setting for SAW to add SoftEdge automatically when removing silence? I do understand that we can simply do a Ctl-A in Select mode and than add SoftEdge to all the regions easily.

I do not remember coding any automatic softedges into the remove silence routines... you are correct to use the Select Mode method to add multiple softedges at once.

It would be cool if the gate algo did nearest auto-zero-cross, no? And would that not impact the remove silence routine (in a good way)? Just thinking out loud...
