Congrats on your new build. I did a new build based on a Intel 661 for the fun of it's running XP Pro and all my old VI's and plugins it's smoking fast!

My only advice: consider dropping the graphics card and going with the integrated GPU. Saves noise, power, heat and money. I've been running dual monitors on my Sandy Bridge i7 without issue. Yours will support three.

Looks great to me. My only suggestion is to identify the audio interface you want to use, then check its website to see if there are any system recommendations.

    Greeny,

In my last build, I used an ATI PCI-e card, as these are preferred over NVidia. This being said, Dave's suggestion about using the on-board video is worth considering.
Note: I still prefer having the add-on card freeing up RAM however.

Also, I would do some more research on SSD's, as Sandisk reviews are not too favourable.

The Samsung's received better reviews at the time I purchased mine with the 850EVO receiving great results.

    Hope this helps?

+1 on the Samsung SSD's. We use them at the TV station where I work, and they've been solid.

I'm assuming the gaming case on the list has a really quiet power supply. Otherwise I would recommend a power supply by Bequiet.

I replaced the power supply in my system with one of those. I was not prepared for how quiet that thing was! Had to put my ear to the case to convince myself it was running!

The old supply sounded like a jet engine compared to this. And it was not expensive at all.

But, If you go with only the top of the line SandDisk... reviews I've read are good. I'm very happy with mine.
