    Default Soundcraft Ui Series

    Hello,

Will these mixers work with SAC?

    What of vst plugins?

For more info, see here: Soundcraft Ui Series

I just got a UI16 and will check that out but I do not think it has any drivers for multitrack recording or playback It even has separate USB out for stereo recording and and another USB for stereo playback pluss 2 USB on side for keyboard and mouse that do not seem to do anything along with an HDMI that only seems to show 1 meter ??

It is a very cool inexpensive mixer

    Dell,

Could you elaborate on what you mean by "work with SAC"? It would seem to be redundant to SAC in terms of functionality, save for the I/O.

    Dave,

I think that I was having one of those "cranial depravity" moments.

I sometimes notice that these moments seem to coincide with periods of "g.a.s".

    All-in-all - I think that I am okay now.

LOL. Hey, I never know what exotic application someone might have in mind. Heck, if the AD/DA and mic pres are nice, it might even be a decent option for those alone-- in-line with SAC -- with plenty of added DSP and routing available as may be needed.

BTW -- I don't imagine these mixers will load VST's -- or any kind of plug-in for that matter. They usually have their own dedicated, proprietary FX modules.
