Hello,

For a time I have been using Riffstation for learning "licks" - reminiscent of the "thumb-on-turntable" days. Overall, it has been a "workable" solution.

Until I stated working with SAWStudio - that is!

I have found that SAWStudio is actually much better at performing similar operations.

Along with the use of the Control Track, Transport Controls, Locate Points, AutoRewind and Sonoris PitchTime, I can do all that Riffstation does, and more - and all with less keystrokes!

There are still some minor features of Riffstation - isolating parts and such, but I found that I used that functionality so infrequently anyhow - so it not much of a loss.

PS: I see that Fender has acquired Riffstation and it is now Free. See here...
