Default OT: High-quality headset for smart phone

    Suggestions?

I have a client who wants to be able to record her podcasts when she's out of the studio -- using her phone -- via RINGR (third-party podcast service). So, I'm looking for a 3.5 mm TRRS-plug headset with a really good-sounding microphone. Oddly, it's really hard to find any reviews of such things by Googling or Youtubing.

Turning to the wealth of wisdom available here.

    Thanks for your insights.

Get this splitter and use a decent dynamic mic & any headphones or earbuds.

Cool idea. Thanks. I'll keep that in mind.

High quality mic-headset would still be preferred by client in terms of simplicity and familiarity, if anyone has useful input...
