Default Microsoft Surface 3 as SAC remotes

I Just picked up two Surface 3 tablets off of EBAY to use as SAC remotes.

Took me most of the day to strip and configure, but overall they seem like they will make very nice on stage remotes for my band mates.

Cost came to $352.78 for the pair.

    Both running Win10 Pro 64

The tables are setup to join a hidden SSID password protected WiFi network and SAC Remote is defaulted to automatically connect to the SAC Host.

So I just turn on the tablet and launch SAC remote and I'm connected.

Touch sensitivity is not as robust as my iPAD, but I was able to tweak the touch sensitivity a bit and actually turned off the multi-touch support in SAC Romote. The people using this won't need to adjust more than one channel at a time.

    Philip,

My, at $176.39 each that is a very good deal!

Also, I am glad that is working our for you - especially being Windows-based.

Note: Just for curiosity, are you using UNC paths?

Not setup that way at present.

Currently just configured as mixing remotes, no remote plug-in support or saving.

I haven't deployed my 64-bit SAC rig yet (still running XP at present), but will work out the file sharing access once I switch everything over the win10.
