It would appear that no one has responded to you?

Any digital console that employs the "Mackie Protocol" should work with SAW.

Is this Tascam 24 sync capable?

You know, I have never used a control surface with a DAW other than Reason.
...and that was long ago; it just is so much set up for not much gain IME

And I have never used a control surface that receives midi in a flying fader type mode where the control surface syncs to the DAW

I did train a bit at Disney Chiswick Park on the C24 controllers, but really only ever observed, I'm pretty sure those would sync to PT

I can't really foresee working like this without syncing the control surface to the edl session in SAW

I'm pretty sure I would be mouse editing whatever mixer moves I might write with SAW anyway

and with a healthy automation library, users will have a lot of moves already preset

I would think that if I needed synced controls, I would try Midi Desgner Pro X on ipad and ensure I really required the functionality.
Personally, I know MDP pretty well and I already have several ipads.
If, then, I found I wanted real hardware rather than virtual controls under glass, then I'd consider something like X-Touch or the like.

That said, I certainly get most of what I need to do with mouse and keyboard for editing in SAW.

For what my main tasks are, I would like touch screen input for selections I make in Spectral Layers which would leverage my time much better.
