Default cursor flashes in Win 10

Is there any way to get the cursor to stop flashing a bit when the timeline is magnified a bit? Never did it in Win 7 and it's annoying. Tried Win 7 compatibility, didn't help. Ideas?

Its Win 10... much more background stuff in the way of the screen redraws.

    demodoc,

Have you applied all of the tweaks that Bob has recommended...surprisingly these tweaks are all that are really-and-truly required.

Seed pages 32 to 41 of the SAWStudio User Manual, v1.1 ... [Click_Me]

For interest, 1) what version of WIN10, 2) clean install or upgrade, 3) what video type - integrated or add-on, 4) monitor(s) used, and 5) connection-types used - VGA, DVI...and so on...?

But are there any even partial fixes?

... In all honesty, tweaking a system for games is really NOT the same as tweaking a system for digital audio usage and I also sincerely believe that it is imperative that we do indeed make a distinction between the two types of systems.

Rather than the above, have a look at Martin's most excellent videos ... and which are actually geared toward RML Software applications.

Actually the tweaks in the video are extensive and will make Win10 as lean as possible for A/V uses. Bob tweaks are great but these take it to a level that is just pure lean without any fat.
