Default Build Mix to FX Modules waits 5 seconds

When I build a mix to LACE, the progress bar and percentage wait about 5 seconds before they start. The results are fine, but it always started instantly in the past. Anybody else seen this? Any ideas?

In the past, when it worked the way you're used to seeing, did you use Win 10, or something else?

Last time I remember mixing to LACE was a month ago, making mp3 files for the same client. Nothing on that computer has changed, except for occasional, unavoidable Win 10 updates, in over a year.

I have noticed that Windows Explorer will not reflect deleted or renamed files without a refresh. I have been blaming a Win 10 update for that, but I don't really know.

    Thanks.

That computer does audio only, so the power and sleep options are all set to Never.

    Thanks.
