Default SAC Link Using SAW Studio 64 and SAC 32

Question concerning the SAC Link using SAW Studio 64 and SAC 32. When I upgrade to SAW Studio 64 will the SAC Link still work using SAC 32 or will I need to also upgrade to SAC 64? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure both have to be the same either 32 or 64. Same with the SAC remote. SAC remote 64 will not connect to SAC 32.

Ok Thanks, I ill need to upgrade both SAW & SAC. Sorry if this has been answered before, can SAW 64 use SAW 32 EDL's?

Yes... you can open SAWStudio32 edls into 64... but once saved in 64, you can not go back... so keep copies of the 32 bit edls if you think you need to use both versions.

Remember... 64 needs all 64 bit plugins as well... unless you use JBridge or some other 32-64 bit wrapper.

Thanks Bob, I'm presently using jBridge to use several 64 bit iZotope plugins in SAW 32 but I can see the need to upgrade SAW, SAC, and RML plugins to 64 bit.
