    Default Studio Frequency Analyzer

    Good day,

I sincerely hope that all are doing well during these "interesting" times?

I just obtained the 64-bit version of the Studio Frequency Analyzer and am curious to know why there are two dll's included?

Thanks in advance for any assistance that may be provided.

Same with SAWStudio. This goes back to 32-bit SAW. For years there have been two native Frequency Analyzers in SAW's available plug-ins. Have a look.

Way back when Bob created the native Frequency Analyzer. After a while, he created a second FA plug-in because he saw a need to sometimes have two instances in an EDL. Why the original FA can't be patched more than once I don't know.

    From http://www.sawstudio.com/downloads/S...lyzer_Info.pdf:

    Frequency Analyzer Version 1.3
    Enhancements
    * A second dll has been added to allow two versions of the plugin to operate in
one session. The second version will look to its own preferences and list as
Studio Frequency Analyzer-2 in the FX Choices listbox. This second version
is not included in the Demo.

actually the 2nd instance is for anyplace that you want to have a 2nd instance. There are lots of places where its useful.

I usually put one on the solo buss so I have a reference for anything I can route to the solo buss. Main outputs, input channels etc.

Also as mentioned handy on the monitor side of things as well.
