    Default Importing wav files

I just imported several wav files with opening the folder from library and highlighting all and linking the files where they are time aligned on different tracks (or at least something like that, as I don't do this too often).

Is there a fast way to make them be new regions along the same track in a batch type of step?

Yes... the Library view popup menu has the option to import the wav files to the current hottrack... so the files will be placed back to back along the current hottrack.

Here is a tutorial that shows the true power of the Libary view that might be helpful.

The import the wav files to the current hottrack option was just what I needed...

Insert and ctrl-insert from Library View are your friends.
