If I remember correctly, you select the BCF-2000-24ch midi template, and set up each of your BCF's in the 3 "slots" in the Midi Device Setup. That should be it!

    Hi,
When you're using the virtual cable, you'll see just one device (because the virtual cable emulates on midi device for SAC).
If you just connect each device seperately to your pc, you'll see three devices.

    Connecting BCF2000's

First the relevent SAW/SAC file (SAC/SAW BCF2000 midi control extended template (8 ch.,16 ch. or 24 ch.) needs to be sent via sysex to each BCF2000 if more than 1 is being used.

Load the desired template into MidiOx or similar and send to the BCF2000.
Ensure the display lights up and the LEDS run around the perimeter.
This d/l should take about 1 minute.

Go to XP control panel/System/Hardware/Device Manager/USB Controllers and ensure
a USB Composite Device is listed. If it is, click on it and BCF2000 should be shown.

If it's not listed then there's an OS recognition problem.

When the sysex has finished, save it to a BCF2000 preset, e.g. P1

    ---------------

    Set BCF2000 - press/hold Edit - press Store.
Turn top left data knob to read u1 for single unit.

For multi template use u4 on controller 1 and s3 on controller 2 & 3.
USB connects to unit 1 only.
Midi cables go OUT A Unit 1 to IN unit 2.
OUT B Unit 2 to IN Unit 1.

    --------------

Make sure your mct file is in the SAC Configuration Folder.

    Open SAC.
    Goto File/Midi Control Template File.
    Open BCF2000 8ch. mct.
Goto Options/Midi Device and select USB Audio Device in both MC Device In and Out.
Goto SMPT/Midi and tick Midi Control In Active and MC Out Active.

    -------------

    You should now be connected.
