Mixing lots of live streams with SAC.... for churches... for clubs... for event spaces... interfacing with all kinds of different systems... Midas AES50 consoles... Allen and Heath Dante consoles... my own i/o rigs using Appsys converter with 40 chans of ADA8200s... its been an interesting journey since Covid hit.

Did a show at the new Raiders stadium with my old XP SAC system... I did 16 stereo in-ear monitors for the band as well as a live broadcast mix and a feed to FOH... 40 ins and 40 outs.

I have been mixing comedy at DAR Constitution Hall with SAC.
Since we started doing gigs again in September. Just a few inputs and up to 2 monitor mixes. If they have a DJ.
We have only done one concert so far. They brought in MHA Audio.

This is Game Changing News - An ASIO Driver that allows multiple clients, without the speed drawbacks of ASIO for ALL - I assume??

So here's a new (for me) thought: Is there a way to use two different ASIO interfaces/drivers at once? Whether it's (ideally) in the same DAW or (second choice) in separate DAWs (or, perhaps, two instantiations of SAW)? Like an RME and UAD Apollo? Yes, asking for a friend.

My first guess is that you could at least use different DAWs or SAW instantiations, one for each interface/driver, so long as the clocks are sync'd. Thoughts?

    Hi everyone,

I usually mix bands and events but sometime theater stuff comes along too.
Here's a tiny setup for a show that required, AsioLink for internal audio patching,
a smartphone as a midi contoller and a soundcard with 8 ins.
Everything was on the laptop, SAC, Multiplay, ASIOLink Driver....

The app I was using on the phone is TouchDaw connecting wirelessly through RTP midi
so that I don't have to watch SAC during the play, just adjust levels on the phone.

Used 3 small wireless AT mics, and two shutgun mics...
2 monitors, with Voxengo span and KarmaFX GEQ on each.
