Re: Resizing for NEW Laptop
Go to the File Menu... FKeys... Clear Defaults. Restart the program... it will now resize to fit the new screen... from here you can modify any of the FKey views you want and resave the Default Fkeys.

Re: Resizing for NEW Laptop
If you have two monitors, the screen resolution will stretch across both monitors... if you later go back to one monitor, then windows, plugins etc. that may have been opened and saved while on the second monitor will no longer display on the single monitor because they are now offscreen.
You can force SAW and SAC to fit on one monitor even if you have two by using the Max Screen Res Override option in the Options menu.
FKey views are specific to the actual screen resolution when they are created... if the res changes, you need to re-create your FKey views to fit the new resolution.

Re: Resizing for NEW Laptop
If there is no Fkey default file, then when you start the program fresh it should automatically resize to fit the current screen size resolution.
You can give me a call at 702-515-9352 and I can step thru some checks to see what might be going on.

Re: Resizing for NEW Laptop
Kimbo,
Firstly, jmh's suggestion should do the trick.
Secondly, renaming the SAWStudio.fky|SAWStudio64.fky data file will also do the trick.
Thirdly, how many developers today would offer to personally assist others - let alone give your their phone number?
Bob...you are still and will always be, "the best"!!!
And by-the-way...being able to store-and-recall specific-and-dedicated F-Key setup is a real gold mine!

Re: Resizing for NEW Laptop
The keyboard shortcut to access the file menu is touch alt (then release) then f - you may be able to get to save default fkeys with that.
