Using KONTAKT - 4 Scenarios

The accompanying text - though written for the neophyte to SAWStudio|Midi Workshop usage...still assumes some prior knowledge of application configuration. Therefore, this text will not be as detailed as other texts that have been written..." 'cause this text was not really meant to be used without a guide". " 'Nuff said!"

The Scenarios
When working with SAWStudio|Midi Workshop and KONTAKT, I have observed four possible scenarios namely:

1. Playback of a MIDI file
2. Mixdown of a MIDI file
3. Record MIDI via a MIDI controller in MWS
4. Record audio via a MIDI controller in SS

In the accompanying text we will be considering each of these four scenarios in turn.

Note: Regarding the latter scenario, Record audio via a MIDI controller in SS, I do believe that this scenario is privy to SAWStudio...and if so, such usage makes SAWStudio rather unique - especially with regards to the use of VSTi's. Verification of this latter particular usage would therefore, be appreciated. DK
