Default OT: Data and Data Redundancy

    Good day,

I have just completed an article entitled "Data and Data Redundancy" specific to RML Labs software users and of which I hope will be of inestimable value to all forum members.

I would very much appreciate your comments on this text. Thank you.

    Hi Dell,

It's a helpful idea to back up the ways a user has customized the software, in addition to the audio created. But you missed .mrt and .aut files and possibly others. Since the entire SawStudio folder here is 69 MB, I just back up the whole thing, and don't bother with particular file types. The back up software figures out what files have changed since the last backup anyway and replaces them on the network drive.

My only other suggestion is to cut it down to about half a page.
