I don't think this is a Saw issue. But, it's still a problem for me. I need the 48k tracks to play back at 91.875% of their current speed. I can do it with vari-speed. If I set vari-speed for the right rate, it works. But, I would rather solve the file issue than add an effect to fix it.

    Thanks,

This would indicated that the file is tagged as 48k but actually recorded at 44.1k. Just needs the header modified to play correctly. I've had this happen once myself.

    I've sent you a PM.

    Grab Header Investigator here:

    And fix the sample rate.

    Thank you, Philip.

This was exactly the problem. I knew it was, I just couldn't find the correct utility to fix it. I changed the header and it works like it's supposed to.

It is interesting that when I thought that I had used Rx to change just the header without resampling that it did nothing to help. I might have to look into that more - sometime when I have nothing else to do.

I'd love to know how it happened, but I was using someone else's Behringer x32 set for 48k, Saw was set for 48k, but obviously something else went haywire.

But, it's fixed and I was able to sync the tracks and get on with the project.

    Thank you all,
    Scott

    Maybe this will work.

    Thank you!

Do you mean Rail Rogut's Head Investigator? Looks like it's still available for free download. Near the bottom left of this page:

    http://www.railjonrogut.com/

Here's the actual download link: http://www.railjonrogut.com/HeaderInvestigator.zip

A note to Rail might be nice if it saves your butt. He created lots of very helpful software in the early days of SAW/SAWStudio.

UPDATE: Oops. I guess I'm a little late to the party.

    That's okay!

It's always better to have too much help than not enough.

Yes, this was the program I was looking for. It somehow disappeared during one of my PC upgrades.

I was glad to see that it works fine in Win10.

    Best,
    Scott
