Default Re: Saving MIDI chords in MWS ?

Sorry......I will NOT use the blend finesse, if I do so I have to go back and forth to my hard drive to get those MIDI files.
I am ONLY interested in MIDI chords 2-3-4 bar of lenght.
Those chords are putted in as notes (chords) one chord , another chord.... on track 2 in MWS one after each other and saved in my template.
I select on track 2 in the timeline/bar where I see, for example, the 3 bar chord I want and then as usual ctr+backspace down to another track and putting cursor where I want that chord to go and to which VSTi or external synth track.
Very easy and smooth. I think there is not so many chord variations as 5000 so I prefer this method.
I maybe can come up to 5-6 chord variations for now, always seeking for more, and then arpeggios.
The CUE locations come in handy when grabbing those chord or arpeggios.
One could say that track 2 in MWS is my MIDI chord library.
And...well I could send You my startup.edl if You give me some time, because this special-template idea came up yesterday.

    Göran,

You stated: "I am ONLY interested in MIDI chords 2-3-4 bar of length."
Response: Are your referring to a pattern such as: C|C|C|C||F|F|F|F
    ||G|G|G|G [Keeping things real simple here!]
    * A "real-world" example would be great here!

Regarding the total number of possible piano chords...check this out: [Click_Me]
    * I do believe that the final total was: 4017!!

2 bar is 2 bar and 3 bar is 3 bar and whatever notes can be inside that, I can not explain it any better sorry.
You asked for my startup.edl how do I post it? As attachment? Only pictures and text is allowed if I understand it right.
And yes, You are right there is 4017 chord variations.
