    I didn't say I deleted the source audio did I? I guess I did...it's not what I meant...I did not delete a source from windows explorer!

    I deleted an entry in the FILE menu from a job on purpose in the wrong job;

    using an undo file, I was able to get to a previous state of the job with all the edits intact

    sorry, I hope this is more clear

    Um, yeah, this thread isn't about what users don't like in SS; it is an area for praise...

    Micro,

    You can disable the PM features - so as not to receive PM's.

    I do see that some of the buttons don't appear to do anything special. But some do seem to save clicks and mousing time/distance. And having all of someone's most-used actions together in one place would seem to be self-evidently advantageous, if only incrementally. Depends on how one uses his/her desktop real estate, I guess.

    Maybe it's handier for people who are super power users. Not so much for less-busy people who can sit back and enjoy the Lamborghini ride as it was originally bestowed upon us.

    Good day,

    The various "menu" applications are really not so much what such applications accomplish for me personally - but rather, what is possible!

    The sole purpose of any script is twofold, 1) to minimize "repetitive tasks", and 2) to provide "redundancy"!

    For example, the "Launch SAW" option, performs the following: 1) Minimizes the taskbar, and 2) Launches SAW
    * The "Launch SAC" option, performs the following: 1) Minimizes the taskbar, 2) Launches SAC, and then 3) Disables the [LIVE] option.
    * The "Add SoundFile" option negates the need to perform 3-12 steps.

    Such applications can be thus configured to perform any number of "commands" - limited only by the imagination of the user and the available syntax.

    I do hope that this all makes sense?

    So there is some macro-ish stuff happening. Makes sense.

    BTW, did you mean "repetitive" when you wrote "receptive," above?
