Got up at 4.00 am today (OZ Time) to play with this! (Well, I had an early start today, anyway).
I've created a test EDL and I'm working my way through the new features ... One thing I love straight away is the export track to soundfile options - that alone is a real time saver - thank you!
Hmm .. but it does seem the Shift+Right-Click only works on one region at a time (having tried every possible variation I could think of). I've noticed that after un-doing this command the cursor sometimes jumps to a new (random) position.
Btw Bob - given the number of changes would it be advisable to use the default shade for the time being? Or have you compensated for existing 3rd party shades?

According to Bob, the shades are fine.
I was careful in trying not to add new buttons and things so the shades should still be good... I believe.
The Shift-Right slide MT-Entry data is designed for aligning data like multiple tracks of vocals or horns... the fact that you would use the command suggests that the tracks are not already aligned... therefore it seems like adjusting more than 1 a a time has no meaning.... and if 5 out of six are aligned, my bet is you will be sliding the one that doesn't line up rather then the other 5 that do.
Of course each situation will be unique... but let's start with one at a time and see how that goes.... trust me... I just did an 18 horn latin big band session and there was no usefulness in adjusting multiple horn tracks at a time... they all pretty much needed individual adjusting.

The new site looks great! And the new version--it has so many new features I literally don't know where to begin.
On another subject, speaking as one who is far from innocent when it comes to hot-headed posts, this really seems out of character for JohnDale. Internet behavior is sometimes like road rage. Not an excuse, but I think it's true.
As has been said, this seems completely out of character for John. I think (and hope) Bob will hear from him in a constructive way.
Regards,
Bill
Funny, I made that same joke 2 days ago on another forum and the guy didn't get it. It was even worser because the post was about silicon implants and the guy placed the election remark.
Yours is a little clearer than mine though, since I asked him "can you spell election?"
