    Nice design, Bertie, but...

Veit's right. It's ironic given the mission statement of your company.

With very few exeptions, you should avoid fixed text whenever possible. You should always give users maximum flexibility WRT websites, assuming you want them to revisit and to encourage others to visit. If you just have to have Flash (of course, you don't ), do a mix of Flash (images) and HTML (text) so that the text isn't fixed.

Also, consider the issue others here raised of accessibility via non-computer-based browsers. And I gotta agree about the embedded audio thing -- not only kind of annoying, but seems extraneous in the context of your site.

FYI, I regularly increase the font size on web sites to make them easier to read, and all I have is a mild astigmatism in my left eye.

Including a HTML only link is great but adding links that target people with all the various disabilities would be advantageous. I can see you are getting a bit beatup here regarding this site issue but you did ask.

I got a lot of tweaking on my site to do also.

Perhaps you can use this with your previous version and have an HTML alternative.

    INTRO

kind of cool but in the end you're better off without it. the message of your site is great--get right to it.

    MAIN PAGES

looks good. the menu is a strange size, it seems to overlap the top in a not good looking way..seems to high, too big? not sure, just unelegant.

    Hi Bertie

Why not use the intro flash as a top banner on the main site? The flash intro is good, just too long and big to be used as an intro. If you could get the filesize down, I think it would be great to put it as a kind of top or bottom banner, if you could adjust the size of it to match the site.

    best of luck

    Hello,

Yes, i got to do something with that intro.

My bandwidth speed is 528.96kbps and it loads the flash in less than 30sec.
