RME Expresscard with SAWStudio

A couple of questions about the long-awaited RME HDSPe Expresscard laptop interface card that was apparently released at the end of January.

I'm looking to invest in a Digiface and Expresscard to use with my notebook PC. As I wish to use SAC, it'll have to exhibit the low (1 or 2 x 64) latency that Bob has achieved with previous RME interfaces.

Q1 - Has anybody tried an HDSPe Expresscard yet? Has Bob been given a demo sample?

Q2 - RME seems to have ditched the MME driver, leaving only ASIO. Will the ASIO driver stably deliver the very low latency required?

I have no demo of the newer RME cards to test with. My hope and guess would be that their ASIO drivers will be very good and able to handle the low latencies... but... can't say for sure without trying them.
